Under sail on a rather calm day in Fisher's Island Sound.
Installation of new three blade Federal wheel, together with new bronze prop shaft and new stern bearing/PSS shaft seal. May 2001.) Forward and reverse performance substantially improved over factory original 2-blade propeller.

She's undergone major upgrading since we acquired her in September 1999. Very well cared for by her two prior owners. We absolutely love the boat and her sailing qualities but for extended cruising we feel we need a larger boat. So we are regretfully putting her on the market. She is not a "buc book bargain" boat and will only be of interest to someone looking for a CD27 already upgraded and set up for serious cruising.

A note on the work done to so far: Dodson Boat Yard does absolutely first class work and their restorations and refits of classic wooden and glass boats are second to none (several Concordias, Hinckleys and other classics make their home at Dodson's) and there is a lot of security in seeing our engine and engine space looking like brand new, let alone all the rigging work.
